Japan #2

When somebody thinks about Japan usually 3 things come to his mind:
Anime, Crazy tv game shows and Japanese girls ;)

I'm not really Anime fan (well I watched Akira many many years ago but that's it) , so i'll just show some pictures of anime and anime ispired games.


I'm not so sure what are these games about but the cover seems cute ;)
this one even runs on vista!


If you are really anime fan, you probably should have one of this.


Japan isn't only about Anime, it's also about video games. Almost everyone had or had contact with Pegasus (it's cheap Chinese version of Japanese NES -8-bit video game console by Nintendo).
So it's obvious that Japanese likes video games, actually in Japan best selling console is Nintendo Wii if you're owner of PS3 or XBOX you probably shouldn't go to Japan.;p

Japanese TV game shows is topic for whole post.
You're probably familiar with polish “Hole in the Whole”, so here's Japanese version.

TV in Japan is also better than Polish ;)

    Next thing I can not understand is why all these people are so crazy about anime. I have never liked it, I have never seen manga, and dragonball and all these Japanese (?) stuff. I even try to watch some but it is not for me..

    The TV shows you you presented are hilarious. They really have a gift to invent some crazy, sometimes insane or even pervert TV shows.

    Japan people are crazy about those anime. In Poland were "smerfy" etc. They just advertise it so much thats why people like it so much.

    People around the world are crazy about stupid TV shows ... I don't understand it - it's waste of time for me. BTW - "Japanese slip 'N slide" was quite funny:)))

    It’s simple - it’s a part of their culture and mentality. There’s nothing wrong about that, they have rights to have own interests. By the way, I’m definitely buying one of those tits mouse pads :)

    I totally agree with Rafał it`s hard to understand them but on the other hand for asian peoples it`s difficult to understand european culture.

    Japanese TV shows are..awesome ;) Especially that "hole in the wall". Why Europe doesn't produce such shows? Would they be liked here? ;) I think not.

    Reading Anime is one of national sports in Japan - everyone reads it and everyone can find something for himself (for example anime for man from big cities in age from 45 to 50).
