Max Garson said that the body is something that can be called 'self-treating mechanism'. He claim thet the task of the doctor is to activate and reactivate the mechanism of treating their own body. Neither one cell in the human body does consist of drugs. In total, slicing the body can not make it improve. We need a completely different perspective, a new paradigm. Boosting recovery is something which was not tried. When you use the nutrients in the treatment, you use the very small doses. The public and doctors are faced with scientific publications, which show mixed results. In one example, vitamin C helps a little, and the other does not help. The problem lies in the fact that all the studies relate to low doses. Recommended daily dose is an amount that for most people is sufficient to prevent diseases caused by deficiency. When you work under pressure, the body uses vitamin C, when the adrenaline is secreted. Here is the link between stress and heart attack. Conventional medicine can not cope with the long-term chronic diseases. Does nothing to change the reason for which the patient ill. It treats symptoms.
Cardiovascular diseases are diseases of civilization, lifestyle diseases. We eat too many things wrong, and too little appropriate. We all know that, but still we eat a fast-food (meat, fat, sugar, starch, processed food without vitamins) and avoid supplements, because "we may harm". Like coronary heart disease is no risk.
Coronary heart disease is reversible. Dr. Ornish had excellent results among people with serious heart disease. He prescripted them strictly vegetarian diet that is highly cellulose, organic, contains vitamins and minerals. Ornish worked on reducing stress, and the patients were able to halt or reverse coronary heart disease within 1-2 years. It follows that coronary disease is caused by lack of vitamins and proper diet. The good news is that even people with advanced disease pacemakers, where changing diets and began to take minerals, they were able to work around without the operation. But the well-talented doctors in medical institutes of unlimited budget, do not even want to think about food and the western lifestyle as a reason. Half the deaths are caused by cardiovascular diseases, and half of these deaths the first symptom of the disease is death. People can live many years without any symptoms and suddenly die. If one on two and a half die from a heart that is to say that society does some basic error. We make billions of dollars worth implanting by-pass operations, although the problem can be completely controlled change in diet and lifestyle - safely, cheap and effectively. Why cardiologists not recommend this approach? First - not everyone is aware of this, and secondly - pharmaceutical companies.
Great problem pharmacological approaches are the side-effects, drug effects. In the UK, the number of deaths each year due to adverse effects of drugs is estimated at 10 thousand. To give a point of reference: the number of people who died in road accidents is 3.5 thousand. Journal of American Medical Association has published statistics that approximately 106,000 Americans die annually due to pharmaceuticals. These are drugs that were properly prescribed. It is about people who take medication according to doctor, not included overdoses and misuses. Within 23 years, this means 2,438,000 killed by the pharmaceutical companies. However, due to the alleged use of vitamins for 23 years 10 people died.
The pharmaceutical industry does not do drugs, just money. These are big international corporations that have obligations to investors and engaged in making money. The problem is related to legislation. Institutions that license and examine the medicines are sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. They are also the majority of advertisers medical periodicals, which keeps most of them from advertising.
25% of advertising in the U.S. is advertising drugs. What would happen if suddenly everyone was healthy? Health is sensible, but it is not profitable.

Drugs abuse is really frightening imo. It makes me shiver when I hear my grandma talk about a new wonderful pill that she just bought, becase of an advert on TV. Pain killers, sleeping pills, liver regeneration pills.. she really believes all this things will make her more healthy.
ReplyDeletePoland is a haven for for pharmaceutical companies, 'cause drug abuse in our country is a serious problem. For example taking over-the-counter painkillers greatly damages your liver. And if you take them on a daily basis, soon you'll have a serious health problem and need other drugs.
ReplyDeleteI observed that doctors are often trying to give their patients the strongest medicines, so they make money because the patient will have to come back for the next recipe and the pharmaceutical company makes money from selling it. It’s not about helping people, but it’s all about money and it’s clearly visible in case of long-term chronic diseases. Pharmaceutical companies are not interested in producing drugs that prevent illnesses, they want to sell drugs that reduce their symptoms. In that approach they can suck money from ill people for years.
ReplyDeleteTo sum up, there’s one solution for the drug issue – take them only if you’ll die without them ;)
Many years ago in Warsaw University of Technology's dorm (PW) student from mechanical automatic and electronic department invented something they called "cure for everything" or ultimate treatment". I think it's answer for all this expensive drugs prescribed by evil (bribed) doctors.
ReplyDeleteI think it has it's origins in early XX century eastern Poland or countries from the Former Soviet Union like BELORUS.
Unfortunately since i left i don't know if they succeeded or what happened to them.
Andrzej, some say that they (or maybe someone else) created a project called "mission to mars" and it was all about putting yourself into a paper box and taking off to mars from the window. All I know is that it finished with an epic fail.
ReplyDeletemission to mars? how hard can it be??
ReplyDeleteRafal: Of course it's all about money. I have an aunt who is a nurse and she knows how it looks from inside. Very many doctors receive perks from pharmaceutical companies for writing prescriptions for their drugs - which are usually more expensive than substitutes available on the market.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Soviet Union cured them xp
ReplyDeleteBut what you will do when you become ill? Will you try out new diet? Will you take substitutes?
Rafał is right, we should take them only when we need them.
The point is to not get ill :) and some studies shows that it could be possible if you eat healthy food. The ideal solution would be to finally explain what really heals, and what does not. But I think that it is quite impossible, because modern medicine industry think about our money, not our health.
ReplyDeletes4140: I feel the same. I hate pills, eg. when my body needs more magnesium I'm trying to eat more magnesium rich food. Drugs for me are last option, not the first one.
ReplyDeleteI personally are the person that is so called "addicted" to pills. I'm taking diffrent type of pills everyday (vitamins etc). Whenever I see a new advert in the TV I usually try it :) I know this is only an advert to attract to buy.
ReplyDeleteI am right now trying to change this starnge lifestyle and try to eat natural vitamins.
I know from my own investigation that vitamins and minerals from fresh prepared food are better absorbed by human body than those from artificial peels. Furthermore - from few years I've stopped using antibiotic, even when the doctor prescribed them, and I realized that my immune system is much more stronger. In other words - I am not ill so often than I used to.
ReplyDeleteThe amount of different pills people pour into themselves is really striking. Pain killers are at the top of the list followed by vitamins and other. Doctors tend to resolve most problems prescribing antibiotics. I think some medicaments have become just merketered products, and pharmaceutical industry created the need to take them, when we don’t need them at all. This is good to be self-conscious and avoid stuffing ourselves with something, which in turn can be harmful. Instead, lets turn to more traditional methods, healthy food and exercise- it might work. Surely, will pay off.
ReplyDeleteAs I said in my last post it thing that exercise is really important in our life, we fill happier after work out and our body is healthier.
